Writing for Caregivers and the Bereaved: A Free Online Workshop with Hospice Toronto

Hospice Toronto and Zou Zou Media House have partnered to offer caregivers and those who are grieving a free, six-week online writing workshop, just for them.

Something Just for You

If you’re caring for someone you love, or grieving someone you’ve lost, your days probably revolve around everyone else. This workshop is the opposite. For six weeks, you get a quiet space to slow down, put pen to paper and do something for yourself.

What to Expect

  • Free of charge, presented in partnership with Hospice Toronto

  • Online, so you can join from home

  • Six weeks of Thursday sessions

  • Guided writing prompts each week, so you never face a blank page

  • A certificate of completion at the end of the course

What You’ll Gain

  • A regular hour that belongs to you, not to your to-do list

  • A way to put feelings, memories and the weight of caregiving into words

  • The comfort of writing alongside people who understand what you’re carrying

  • Stories and reflections you can keep, or share with family if you choose

  • Confidence in your own voice, whether you’ve written before or not

No writing experience is needed. You share only what you want to share.

Save the Date

We begin on Thursday, November 5. Session times will be confirmed soon.
