Memoirs and Memories is now in residence at Villa Charities, where older adults are turning a lifetime of stories into a published anthology for their families.

The Stories Are Written

Our Memoirs and Memories writers at Villa Charities in Toronto have finished their stories. Every one-to-one interview is done, and we’ve gathered the photos and keepsakes each writer chose to sit alongside their memoir. We’re now editing and designing the first draft of the book.

They Couldn’t Stop Writing

Getting started was the hardest part. Once they did, they almost couldn’t stop. Our writers worked day and night, and a few told us they’d wake up with a new memory and write it down before it slipped away, just so it could make it into their story. Their excitement to share has carried this whole project.

The Grand Reveal Spring, 2027

We’ll unveil the finished book in early spring, 2027, with a photoshoot and a party to celebrate our authors. Date to be announced, so stay tuned.
