Our illustrators come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and that isn't a footnote. It's why a family member in Toronto, Canada, India, or China can open one of our books and find someone who looks like them, drawn by someone who understands why that matters.

Illustration is priced per piece, so you can build a book that fits your budget. Mixing full spreads for the big story moments with spot art for quieter pages is the single most effective way to keep your total down without the book looking thin.

You own the art. Full commercial rights transfer to you on final payment. That covers the book, your marketing, merchandise, sequels, and anything else you build on those characters later. Ask any illustrator you're considering to put that in writing, because it isn't automatic.

Zou Zou Media House does not publish books using AI-generated illustrations. We are committed to supporting the artistry, originality, and skill of human illustrators and creative professionals. We do, however, accept submissions from authors and work closely with them to ensure their projects align with current publishing best practices. Our goal is to protect creative integrity while helping authors produce high-quality, professionally published books that honour the unique talent behind every story.

These illustrations often have a vintage or timeless quality and are frequently used in classic literature and fantasy genres due to their ability to evoke a sense of mystery and sophistication.

Please note, that a formal quote of your illustrations will be determined after the number of pages of your children’s book and the style of your illustrations is determined.
