We Build Stories. We Build People. We Build Communities.

Zou Zou Media House is an independent publishing, media, and cultural programming company, rooted in Toronto and reaching communities across Canada and internationally.

Where It Began.

Zou Zou Media House began with a simple but powerful conviction: that every story deserves to be published with the same care, rigour, and ambition that the most celebrated publishers bring to their most celebrated titles. We are an independent cultural publishing house. From children's books to corporate histories, from mobile literacy experiences to memoir writing programs for seniors, everything we do is rooted in a single belief: that stories change people, and people change communities. We are particularly committed to amplifying voices that have been underrepresented in the publishing landscape, including authors from Indigenous, Black, and racialized communities. We do not take on every project. We take on the right ones and we give them everything we have.
