2025 Diamond Award Winner · Best Summer Event · Toronto

Toronto's First Arts and Culture Bookmobile.

We bring books, creativity, and community directly to you. Schools, festivals, corporate events, birthday parties, and senior residences. If your community needs a story, we will bring it to your door.

Mission

To deliver inclusive, community-based literacy experiences that ignite a love of reading, amplify storytelling, and expand access to books for children and families, meeting people where they are and creating meaningful connections through every story shared.

Vision

To build a future where every community has access to engaging, inclusive literacy experiences, where books, storytelling, and creative expression are tools for connection, confidence, and lifelong learning.

WHY THE BOOKMOBILE EXISTS

Access to Books Should Never Depend on Your Postal Code.

The Zou Zou Media House Bookmobile exists because stories belong to everyone. Every community. Every child. Every senior who has a lifetime of memories worth recording. We remove the barriers of distance, cost, and access, and we show up. In your school. In your parking lot. On your street. As seen on CBC News.

The Mobile Literacy Experience.

A 60, 90, and 120-minute in-school program designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading. Includes a guided read-aloud, interactive discussion, creative expression activity, and a take-home book for every participant. For full curriculum alignment details and booking, visit our dedicated School Visits page.

Where Community Gathers, We Bring the Books.

We partner with community centres, libraries, cultural organisations, and non-profits to deliver literacy programming that meets people where they already gather. Whether it is a summer festival, a neighbourhood celebration, or a cultural event, the Bookmobile brings books, stories, and a community anchor to your day.
